I’m having troubles getting affordable tickets (less than $500) for flights around Christmas. Travelocity isn’t working. All of their prices, when selected in search, get Jacked up several hundred dollars at the last moment when you select one for purchase. Is there a better way?

   If you’re willing to fly on Christmas day, you may find the prices greatly reduced.

   I flew on Christmas day once and it was one of the most pleasant traveling experiences I’ve ever had. Hardly any traffic, people were in a good mood, and flight attendants were extremely attentive and gave us free champagne.

   Post your request in. There are a lot of people who have a southwest roundtrip coupon and are willing to sell for cheaper rates.
